We hide real cash, merch, gift cards and etc. — in real places with real codes — somewhere in your city. Then we drop the clues, one at a time, right here in this app. First hunter to follow the clues, find the drop, and enter the code gets to keep their loot.

I’m Mickey Trivett — the guy behind The Local Loot.

I grew up in those small East Tennessee towns where the air smells like rain on asphalt and the gas station clerk knows exactly how your mama takes her coffee. Back then, a twenty-dollar bill wasn’t just money—it was the start of a Tuesday night story you’d still be telling ten years later.

But somewhere along the way, things changed. Life sped up. Screens got brighter. Conversations got shorter. We stopped looking up… and we definitely stopped looking at each other.

So I built something to bring that feeling back.

The Local Loot is more than just hidden money—it’s built on my mission: Live Life. Do Good. Be Happy.

This is that… in motion.

I hide drops in real places—tucked behind a brick in an alleyway, perched on a ledge near the town square, or waiting under a bench at the park. These aren’t just random finds… they’re cards. And inside those cards?

That’s where it gets fun.
